Well, it was the first game in the series and first FF game I ever played 
It was the game that brought me to rp-s and probably the game which made me the man who I am 
(JK) Tho I never completed it before the PSX version around 4 years ago.
I really do enjoy the world, plot and everything else. It's quite simple in terms of main plot and gameplay and simplify sometimes beats complicated things. I really like the level of challenges of the true Nes version. Challenging games tend to beat easy ones. I also like the mana system, it makes low level challenges harder and makes being high level necessary. While most of the things are positive, there are few drawbacks. Times when you don't know where you have to go occur too much and well ... some places are too casual. And lack of phoenix down is somewhat sad ... for newcomers at least. But in the end, I really like the game!
