Rieka sighed and leaned her head back against the wall closing her eyes. "So you have three options it seems. Survive with the curse as long as you can but your health will continue to fail. Find and kill your father. Or we can try and find a way to break the curse." Rieka pushed herself away from the wall and walked over to the door, "Stay here and rest for awhile please, sleep will do you good. I'll make some tea for you, it'll take a while to brew and it'll be horribly bitter but it will give you some more energy. If you have to get up before I come back with it I'd be much obliged if you'd come by the kitchens so I can get it to you."

Rieka was about to leave when she walked back over to the bed and lay her hand on his shoulder. "Ryoko, thank you for telling me. I know it's not easy for you to come to others, you remind me of my father in that sense." She gently squeezed his shoulder and then left the room gently closing the door behind her.

For a minute, Ryoko stayed put in bed. But then, he moved his body a bit upwards.

" Maybe there is a third way ... to break the curse ..." Spoke the old man to himself. With gathering as much strength as he was able to, he lifted his body up, took his blade and walked towards the kitchen. He was using his blade as a walking stick and was leaning on it heavily. After a minute of extreme test of will and ability to tolerate high pain, he made his way to the kitchen. He smiled to Rieka and took a seat.

"Rieka, th..." His sentence was interrupted by a strong cough.

" Rieka ... I don't know where my father is neither do I know if there's another way to break the curse. But I do know that I don't wish to go on like this ... being fragile and weak." Kuroshiro's face was serious and his voice had no doubt in it.

" I want your permission to go to the forbidden part of the library ... the library of the banished books of forbidden knowledge, arts and history." He stopped to take a deep breath and then continued.

" I'm aware that there are books that are darker than dark ... books that take control over me, books of terrible pain and suffering, books of forbiddens arts that many times have brought our planet close to its end. But I'm willing to take the risk to find out a way to break the curse ... or find my father ..." After a moment, a friendly grin formed on his face.

" I would like you to accompany me ... but also I know how hard it is to resist the books of the greatest knowledge and power ... and I wouldn't want to be the one who leads the great Rieka to the dark side or to something even worse. By the way ... is the tea taking long? I'm getting tired."

Rieka rolled her eyes, "It's gonna taste like crap," she said casting a small fire spell around the pot to boil the water even faster. She took the pot off the stove and poured Ryoko a mug adding a few ice cubes to cool it down. "The longer you let it simmer the mellower the flavor becomes, but hey it'll serve it's purpose no matter what it tastes like," she said handing him the mug.

"As for the library, who do you think gathered all of those books and stored them here? The knowledge those books hold is forbidden. They're filled with magics none should ever perform, among those magics are curses, which is why it's the first place to start looking. If we can find the origins of the curse we can find a weakness, loophole, or way to absolve it." Rieka sat across from him and smiled, "You have my permission to enter that portion of the library, but I'm coming with you. Some of the books themselves are cursed and piling a curse on top of your pre-existing curse would cause me about ten times as much work untangling them, besides, I always like a good excuse to go exploring." She said laughing.

Kuroshiro accepted the mug. He smiled gently and finished the mug off in one huge gulp.

" Ahh..." Shouted Ryoko while grabbing some ice cubes. His mouth was burning and so was his throat. After a few seconds the initial pain dissappeared.

" ... Sorry ... it was hot." Mumbled Ryoko while trying to move his burnt tongue.

" I appreciate your aid Rieka."

" but this tea ... I'm going dizzy." Everything started moving. Moving enough to make Kuroshiro fall off the chair. But a second later, he had jumped up, filled with energy. He smiled and reached for his sword. He swung it a few times with amazing speed, almost hitting the expensive mug, by accident of course.

" I feel like I'm young again." Told Ryoko while jumping high into air and doing a backflip. On the landing tho, he nicked his back.

" ... seems as it didn't renew my body ... anyway, let's head off?" He asked while putting his sword away.

"Yeah tea that was boiling about 5 seconds ago generally is hot." Rieka said rolling her eyes. She almost jumped up with concern as Ryoko fell out of his chair but then he jumped up and she just shook her head laughing. "Sometimes you amaze me Kuroshiro," She said getting up and heading towards the door, as she drew even with Ryoko she lay a hand on his arm and cast a quick healing spell. "I should probably let you suffer for your reckless behavior," she said smiling, "but I have a feeling you haven't felt this good in a long time and I won't have a burnt mouth or nicked back ruining that. So let's begin," she said brightly as she walked out into the hallway and towards the library.

Ryoko found it extremely easy to keep up with Rieka's tempo, his eyesight had improved and much of his pain had dissappeared.

" Heh ... I just remembered how we first met ... it was in the slums of Midgar and just a few weeks before I had left Kuroshiro's fortress to explore the world. Back then ... I was full of energy and cheerful outside of work ... " The old Kuroshiro opened the library door and let Rieka pass him.

" And I got a bit drunk ... and started hitting on you ... thinking that you were one of those Slum ladies. And then, do you remember what happened next?" He stopped and waited for Rieka's answer.

"Hmm," Rieka said with a smile, "If I remember correctly I told you to stop, you didn't. I got angry, threatened you with my claws, you found out I was a werewolf, we started fighting, destroyed quite a bit of property,I still get letters from some of the merchants asking for reimbursement for destroyed property you know, and finally got escorted out of town under a full battalion guard. Did I miss anything?" She asked glancing over at Ryoko.

" Hmm ... I think that was it." Told Ryoko and burst out laughing.

" We are almost there." Said the old man while looking around. They had walked through the library and reached the far far end. It was dark and cold in there and many of the books were dusty.

" I can't seem to remember which book opened the secret passageway."

"That's because you're not supposed to remember," Rieka said running her hand along the books on one of the shelves. "Ahh here we go." She said tilting one of the books down until she heard a click she then pushed the bookshelf in revealing a narrow stairway. "Barlow's History of the Julian Moth a thoroughly boring book no one would ever choose to read. Got it extremely cheap in some back alley shop. Not that it matters really, anyway be careful not to fall down the stairs it's a little over two flights down and I don't want you knocking me down." She said as she began to walk down the stairs.

Ryoko began following Rieka down the stairs. He could feel the tensity of the air. Dark and cold mist reached his body and his cheerful mood from before was gone. With no particular emotions, he walked and walked until they reached the ground.

" Hmmm ... the forbidden library." Whispered Ryoko while his eyes wondered around the thousands and thousands of books around.

" Any suggestions?"

"Yes actually 2 of them, if a book has the emblem of a lock on it you have to bring it to me before you'll be able to open it, and if the book physically talks to you be polite, some of them are possessed by the spirits of evil warlocks or demons so be polite and careful with them or else they might curse you. If your curses origin book or one similar is in here you'll feel it." Rieka said walking over to a nearby shelf.

Kuroshiro took a few steps towards a bookcase when he heard someone saying.

" I can smell blood ... lot's of blood." The voice was high and creepy, maybe even a bit maniacal.

" A spirit of fighting and death ... I have waited for one like that." Said another voice somewhhere further down the forbidden library. But Ryoko ignored them and looked down the lanes. And then, something grabbed him. He swung his blade, but the shadow that had grabbed him had dissappeared.

" Release me .... release me please." Shouted a voice of a young girl. The voice, it came out of a book with a seal.

"I'm following orders which don't allow me to touch you. So bugger off!" Told Kuroshiro without any hesitation. He turned around and walked to the other bookcase. Something was calling for him.

" The Hidden History of Kuroshiro's - The Warlord Rashen Kuroshiro." Was written on the case of the book. A sealed book it was.

" I have heard that name ... Rashen, one of the greatest but darkest of all Kuroshiro's." He touched the book gently to wipe some dust off it. But that was a wrong call. The book dragged him into it.

" A man worth of the name of Kuroshiro." Told another voice.

" Shit... I should have been more careful." Whispered Ryoko while unseating his sword. He looked around and saw himself being located in an old prison like building.

" It's a honor to meet you, Ryoko Kuroshiro! But I don't have much power to keep you here for long ... so fight with me!" Shouted the old man while charging at Ryoko Kuroshiro.

"Alice you know we can't let you out or you'll kill everyone." Rieka said when she heard the little girls voice. Suddenly rieka felt a slight breeze "Ryoko!" She said spinning around but she couldn't see him. "Damnit she muttered following his footprints in the dust. The Hidden History of Kuroshiro's - The Warlord Rashen Kuroshiro the book title said "I should have realized that book was down here, I went through enough trouble subduing it. Rashen shouldn't have been able to suck him in that easily though." She muttered to herself. "Hang in there Ryoko." Rieka said grabbing the book off the shelf and running towards the stairs.

The enemy, his speed was unmatched. Every single swing could have been the last for Ryoko, but just barely, he managed to block them. And every once in a while, Ryoko managed to do a counter attack. But his enemy had no problem at all dodging those attacks.

" Hmm ... there's something wrong with you my friend." Said Rashen with dark and low, frightening tone. He used a flash-step to get behind Ryoko and then swung his blade. The old friend of Rieka's felt the blade touching his skin, but fortunately it was just a scratch.

" I mean, you are strong. Stronger than most of the ninjas I have ever met. And you are experienced, very experienced... but even then you are no match to me ... hah, I know. You have triggered the curse of the laws ... hahahaa" The evil warlord Rashen burst out laughing and smashed Ryoko into a wall of the prison. Pain shot through his body and his limbs became useless.

" I never thought I would be this lucky ... hahaha" The man couldn't stop laughing. Slowly, he walked next to Kuroshiro and smiled.

" Your soul has been weakened a lot by the curse ... that's why it isn't a problem for me to keep you in here ... and that's also why..." Rashen had dissappeared. A few moments later, Ryoko stood up and grinned.

" This was easier than I thought." Muttered Kuroshiro.

" WHAT DID YOU DO?" Screamed a voice in his head. Kuroshiro smiled and answered.

" Be friendly to me ... after all, we going to be together for a long long time, Ryoko."

" Now, I only need someone to take us out of the prison ... oh yeah, the old werewolf ... your dear friend." Ryoko's voice had slightly changed, his blank emotionless face had been turned into an evil, dark looking face.

" DON'T. YOU WILL REGRET IT!" Shouted a weak voice in Kuroshiro's head.

OOC; As you might understand, Rashen jumped into Ryoko's body Very Happy

Rieka reached the top of the stairs and slammed the book down on the nearest table. "Please let me be in time," Rieka muttered as she unlocked and opened the book. She gently lay her hands on the book and stretched out her consciousness trying to find Ryoko. "There you are old man," she said when she found him. She took a deep breath and reached in forming a link between the prison and the library. She quickly stepped through and found herself standing in front of Ryoko. "Come on Royoko you've gotta get out now. He's in here somewhere, let's go." She said grabbing his hand adn turning back towards the portal.

Kuroshiro landed on the floor of the library. He stood up and grinned.

" Finally ... after all those years." Said he in his mind. He looked back to Rieka and then walked off towards the shelves.

" Don't worry, it won't happen again ..." Kuroshiro walked down the lanes and looked around. So many books he desired. He walked a bit further away and made sure Rieka wasn't looking. He touched a sealed book and muttered some unknown words to Ryoko.

" WHAT ARE YOU DOING? STOP IT NOW!" Shouted a voice in his head, but Kuroshiro didn't stop. A few seconds later, a young girl previously called Alice by Rieka had been released.

" Don't get caught Alice." Told Kuroshiro and walked next to another book, a book called - " The history of necromancers - Zodiac Arrancar". He touched the seal and once again spoke words unknown to Ryoko. And once again someone was released and so book after book until Kuroshiro returned to Rieka.

" I'm getting tired ... could we continue this tomorrow?" Asked Ryoko while starting to walk upstairs. In his twisted mind he was already planning a massive slaughter and after that, returning to his throne at Kuroshiro's family.

"You should be tired after the day you've had." Rieka said with a smile. "Go on up, I'm gonna keep looking through this book for anything that might help us, good night." Rieka watched Ryoko going upstairs and continued searching the book. "She rested her head on the table and heard someone giggle. She jumped up out of her chair. "Alice! Get out here!" She yelled into the darkness around her.

"You can't make me wolfey," The little girl said laughing. Rieka heard footsteps running among the shelves. She went over to where Alice's book still lay on the shelf but the seal was broken. Se looked down the shelves and saw countless broken seals.

"Shit," Rieka said looking around her. She slowly started walking towards the door casting a shield around herself as she went. "Stuck in a dark library with several people who want me dead...yeah not my idea of a fun time," she muttered under her breath." She finally reached the entrance to the stairs and stepped back up onto them. She stood there a few minutes peering into the dark before casting a shield around the stairway entrance to keep the former prisoners locked in the forbidden library. She then cast several shadow cages around the book shelves. "There that should make it harder for you guys to release more like you and the shield should make it almost impossible to break through. Oh and Arrancar try and touch this shield and I'll know it. I'll destroy this library before I let you bastards back into the world." Rieka said as she turned on her heel and walked up the stairs.

James went into his room and collapsed on the bed and fell asleep almost instantly. Hours later he woke up starving. "Food...food is good. Gotta be kitchens around somewhere." He said to himself as he got out of bed and went wondering off to find some food. A while later he had a sandwich and was headed towards the library. "Seems odd they always congregate in the library but who am I to judge eh." He said to himself with a smile.

Kuroshiro had just left the library when he saw a young man. James was it.

" Not worth my time ... " Said he with frightening tone and continuing walking.

" Haha ... " Kuroshiro had reached the centre of the monastery, a lovely garden area with a fancy looking well in the middle. The well was known as the well of life and it reached down deep into the underground rivers that supplied most of the water to the nearby areas.

" Poison of Lucifer!" Whispered the dark man and a drop of a green-red liquid dropped to the well.

" HAHAHA ... this is more fun than I thought. Arrancar ... why are you still following me? Shouldn't you be dealing with the mage?" Kuroshiro turned at a dark shadowy mass, much like he. It was obvious that the necromance was afraid of Kuroshiro as it backed off a few steps after meeting the eyes of Ryoko/Rashen.

" I'm sorry ... I just need to find bodies to create more powerful allies ..." Soon after those words, Arrancar dissappeared.

" Now ... what am I going to do next? " Muttered Rashen/Ryoko while jumping to the roof of the monastery.

" Yeah ... you have control over Ifrit ... ofcourse ... you are very useful Ryoko." Rashen grinned.

" Shut up ..." told Ryoko's voice in Rashens mind.

Kuroshiro jumped from one rooftop to the other until reaching the front of the monastery. He stopped and took a deep breath.

" IFRIT... THE GOD OF HELLFIRE- RELEASE YOUR FURY!" Soon after those words, a bright red glow appeared from Kuroshiro.

" Must be the summonstone ..." Thought Rashen while looking around. The ground was gently shaking until huge cracks appeared. From the very ground, molten lava burst out. It seemed as the forest in front of the monastery had been turned into a field of lava fountains. A beautiful yet devastating sight. And soon after a huge flame tornado appeared. From the ground itself a flaming entinity burst out, causing flames and devastation everywhere around it. Kuroshiro couldn't stop smiling when seeing the destruction he had caused in just a few seconds. There were still some trees left, but not for long as the flames did what they were created to do, burn.

" Kuroshiro ... what is the reason of this?" Roared Ifrit with his deafening voice. His hellred eyes looked straight into Rashen's/Ryoko's.

" It's not your job to question your master, low creature of Gaia ..." Ifrit stood there, looking at Kuroshiro and not believing his eyes.

" You ... only one man has ever dared to be that arrogant in front of me ... But no ... you can't be ... you are Ryoko Kuroshiro ... " Ifrit's voice had a note of fright in it. But Kuroshiro didn't care. He walked closer to the beastly summon and whispered.

" I'm Rashen ... this body is just a mere vessel for my soul ... now fulfill your orders and finish off everyone who try to follow me. Understood?" His words were strict and hard, leaving Ifrit no other option.

" As you wish ... Rashen!"

"Shit," Rieka said Looking out the window. "James I'm sorry stay here, try not to die," she said before teleporting to the roof of the monastery.

"Neglamur, restrain Ifrit please," She said calmly as she took in the scene around her and released her own dark summon. "Rashen, I would ask you why you're doing this, but I know of you. The man with no restraint, destroyer of nations. But what do you hope to achieve with this? Destroying the land. Will you rule over a wasteland? No I think not," she said shaking her head. "I will not let you succeed, even if it costs me my life. Even if I must destroy my home, and my friend."

Rashen continued to walk. But it wasn't long after he heard Rieka's words.

" Haha ... You were the keeper of my prison ... and this is your home ... and if you don't accept seeing the beautiful scene of destruction as a reason, maybe revenge will count as one." Said Rashen while walking through the dying forest. Flames were everywhere. The roars of the summons had filled the air. And then he unseated his blade, charging at Rieka, ready to swing his blade.

OOC> I considered the risks before doing this post and thought it might just slip through, but obviously it didn't. So changed the post, but as Mother Yackle has already answered to the misuse of a summon, I won't change it but will avoid misusage in the future.

-Taps foot impatiently- Juss

It is reminded that rpers should be considerate of each other while posting. Power-plays,mis-use of items. will not be tolerated. While it is encouraged to be creative in your posts, You May not force others into having to post a certain way. This is your last and only warning, you've been told countless times. next time there will be consequences.

Also to all... summons are one attack only elements. if confused about this please read the rp rules.
