Coolest Boss
I was playing Final Fantasy X last night, and was fighting the second Seymour fight (Natus?), and I was wondering, what are your favourite bosses? I remember that one at Mi'hen Road (Sinspawn Gui?) was so hard to beat on my first playthrough because my characters weren't too strong.

Re: Coolest Boss
Coolest bosses, for me atleast, are determined through the battle music. If the music has a sense of danger to it's sound but is pretty relaxing all at the same time then for me that makes the pace of the battle much more efficient.
If the music is so rapid and makes you rush through attacks and panic that is also a good thing but I prefer battle music to be something that I don't mind just listening to

Re: Coolest Boss
I would have to say the coolest boss for me was either the dragon thing that you fought on the Airship or the Seymour boss on Mt. Gazaget . The Airship was cool because lets face it how much cooler can you get than fighting on an airship. And the Seymour battle because it was a very difficult battle even if you are beefed up pretty good. If I remember right he was very quick and had quite a few strong attacks.

Re: Coolest Boss
Evrae was 1 hard boss!!! There was so many factors to take into account and this was the boss I tackled without actually playing the game properly... I had limited experience of the system. I was given the joypad by my bro in law and he said "Don't worry if you die!" Well I knew I was doomed then hahahaha
When he came back he said to me "What happened?" And I found my replying with a song...
"First i was afraid, I was terrified, I didn't know how to win the battle with Lulu Petrified." hahaha

Re: Coolest Boss
Hrmmmm i would have to agree with shirma, like the Yunaleska battles and the stone guardian before zanarkland were uber tough. epic attacks from them too.
Re: Coolest Boss
After carefully walking towards the front of the train, Cody caught sight of the SeeD from the train, the Cockatrice towering over her. From this distance, magic would've been Cody's preferred option, but seeing the female SeeD and another man at threat from this vicious, angry creature quickly made him realise that distraction was the instant sensible option.
While the bird-like monster had its back turned to him, Cody decided now would be the best time to use his current stealth to their advantage. He quickly picked up a palm-sized rock from the ground besides the tracks and threw it to the other side of the area, connecting with something metal which he couldn't see from his current position.
In response, the giant creature panicked and turned around towards the direction of the sound. In this brief amount of time Cody held his left arm up, so that his hand was parallel to his face, and made a fist, frowning as it trembled furiously. As the Cockatrice spotted him and began to move towards him as fast as its legs could carry its heavy body, a gust of ice cold air flew towards it recklessly from Cody's direction. Several sharp shards of solid ice flew towards the creature, making several minor but painful incisions on its chest. Some shards flew slightly out of control, smashing against the side of the train, the noise further aggravating the creature.
The damage Cody had done with his magic wasn't very significant, and he was aware of this. Now the creature's further frustration was focused on him. As it pushed forward, Cody held his sword in front of him. The Cockatrice didn't appear to be preparing magic, which he thought unusual. It was common for a monster of this kind to instinctively respond to magic with magic.
Something's not right here.
