Haha, Yes, the movie was epic, I wished they would of used the buster sword instead of the Tsurugi, but, that sword was epic too. Seeing all our favorite FFVII characters in full CG brilliance was epic as heck.

Also, Tanaki, the one you were thinking of is Sephiroth (well.. maybe you thought of Kadaj, Loz or that other one..)

Also, seeing as this is an FFVII discussion thread,

I seen it.. It is epically epic! Love the story, graphics and fight scenes.. plus Tifa is so looking hot there! My favorite part was her fight with Mama's boy #3.

I just wished there was more Yuffie XD

I totally agree with you in that last part. I thought Yuffie could have used to have a few more scenes, and I also loved this movie in all its entirety from the fight scenes to the storyline it was all great.

I was looking at some stuff around here and there and I came across something kinda interesting:

The reason for the lack of seeing the buster sword much in Advent children plays into the same reason the ghost of Zack encourages cloud that he can beat Sephiroth again in their final battle.

The Buster of clouds was given to him by Zack; something that was written out in the old Crisis core anime, long before ths film.

The buster sword was a representation of Cloud living on for both him and Zack. Which is why he left it behind as a marker where Zack died; it was a way of saying that cloud had not only pressed on to become like Zack, but in fact surpassed him. It meant he will always remember Zack, but now he is his own man, so to speak.

Now if there is any truth in this I have no idea, but it's reasonable that the buster sword, or lack of, was metaphorical.

The three were Loz, Yazoo, and Kadaj, and I don't know how you could forget Sephiroth...

I agree on the point about the Bustersword... mostly, Cloud just needed his own weapon, there are to many people linked to the Buster sword now

Ive seen it about 15 times. It never ever gets old. Vincent plays the most dark and mysterious part as well.

I have never played FF7, but this movie really made me want to get FF7, if I wasn't so poor. Sad
