I think that this is classed as an RPG. The games were previously side scroller but have expanded and are in 3-D i nsome cases now. My current favourites are Super Mario Galaxy and Super Paper Mario.

I used to LOVE mario as a kid... I would play it on my gameboy advance ^^.
At the moment I only have with mario in; Mario Kart Wii and DS, Mario and sonic olympics (wii), smash bro brawl (wii)

I have those games too (but olwmpic games is on DS) I have always been a big fan of Mario games, very fun to play. Although I was let down by SSBB online play.
