Resident Evil

who has played the Resident Evil series, and what did y'all think, did you enjoy the latest games more, or the older games, did you prefer such titles as Outbreak or RE chrinicles?

ooooh speak of the devil; I was playing RE2 yesterday.
I've done RE2 a few times, RE3 a few times; played RE4 a few times too xD
I don't have RE5 yet, but i'm intending on getting it.
I've seen all the movies except Degeneration which I think I should.
I think it's a great series, and I liked how the first half of RE3 takes place before RE2 and the second half after the ending of RE2. (or something like that)
But i'll have to say 2 is my favourite, i've had some fond (and some un-fond zombie fests) memories playing that game.
*wants to play RE2 now* >.>

RE2 was infact my favorite RE game, as you play as 2 different characters during the game, (claire in first half and leon in the second half, and vice versa depending on the disc you play first) but then i played RE5 and i blew my load in my trousers, it was damned awesum. % is now my fav because of its better graphics, more advanced firing style and better costumes. my only 2 problems with it are
