The Institution of Silver Lake ~RP~

The students have been forced to accept the new rule of lockdown, those caught outside their dorms after 9pm will be punished severely. No one doubts this. Everyone's seen someone have their fingers or even their arm broken for disobeying the teachers in the classroom, and they shudder to think what punishments would happen if they were caught after lockdown.

This is The Institute of Silver Lake. A school laws forgot. Corporal Punishment still occurs at the school, albeit, more extreme, but, the school has a dark deep secret.

Recently, children have been disappearing, no one knows why they disappear, where they go to, or who is behind the disappearances. 3 girls and 4 boys have already gone missing, two of the girls have been discovered, laying face up in the main hall, dead. Each one had a knife stuck deep in their chests, and a note found near the bodies - "I'll be back." 2 of the boys were also discovered, hanging from a tree in the forest near the school. They also had the same note nailed to the rope.

Although the police have searched and searched, the missing children or the people responsible for their disappearances, have not yet been discovered. The children are terrified, but the school insists things carry on as normal.

This is where our RP starts, it is 8am on a cold Tuesday morning...



Zeria Iiyasei yawned as she walked through the hallways, pulling her long red hair into a ponytail. It didn't change much of the length of it though. It still reached the backs of her knees.

"So it seems that there is another day we have survived. Doesn't look like a very good day either"

She sighed and shivered a bit, staring down the hall. It was somewhat cold too, which didn't help her, considering she was wearing her old school's uniform. The skirt only went halfway to the knees, so her legs were freezing. She was glad the top had long sleeves. She yawned again, gazing out the windowz as she walked, her black bag slung over her shoulder.

"It's so dull...and it looks like it might rain today..."

Zeria stretched, stopping in the middle of the hallway and spacing out, lost in thought...

Beads of sweat dripped from a nose. an almost empty basketball court was the new found home of the School's sport star Stephen William Hownam. Shooting basket after basket, Stephen dunked and potshotted from halfway, most shots finding the hoop. Stephen dribbled and weaved, practicing constantly, Hoping that one day he would be able to shake off the miss that cost his team the title in the previous season.

"Mr Hownam" the coach's voice sounded, echoing through the empty sport hall. "Sir" stephen replied as he sank another 3 point shot from the edge of the key. "why is it that your here every morning whilst your team mates are still in bed? Still punishing yourself?" Stephen smiled at the teachers remarks "no Sir, i just want to be ready for Meadow Hall school this year" Stephen replied "there are four other players on the court who have your back Stephen" Stephen looked at the sports teacher and launched a chest pass his way "yes sir, excuse me i have to shower before school"

Stephen exited the hall and headed up to his dorm, being sports captain and a prefect was tiring on the 18 year old, but he never minded the additional pressure, most Students in school looked up to him, and Stephen tried to make sure kids felt at hom in Silver lake.

Upon his arrival back in his dorm Stephen had a quick shower and then got into his Black jeans, white T-shirt and white shoes. he clipped his Prefect badge onto his T-shirt and grabbed his bag. He locked his door as he exited and headed towards the front of school to meet the Students who came for the school day only, Lucky kids.

As Stephen walked down the corridor he smiled as he was greeted with a "Good morning..." he stopped walking and turned to face the girl "hey there" he replied before a quick glance up and down the corridor to see who was around. "How are you this morning?" was the next line the girl that came from the girls mouth. "I'm great, I'm at the top of my game baby" he announced with an arogent tone in his voice.

"I'm just kidding, I'm fine, missed a few easy baskets this morning, but nothing to serious. My game is the best it's been since. . ." Stephen paused and glanced at the floor "the incident" he muttered under his breath as he returned his gaze to the Red head.

Stephen extended his right hand towards the girl "we haven't been formally introduced "I'm Stephen Hownam, but my friends . . . " Stephen paused for another moment "Everyone calls me Hownam" Stephen informed the Girl with a smile "And you are?" Stephen asked

Stephen smiled at Zeria's comment about his sportsmanship "yea, i aint bad. and what are you worried about? oh god, it isn't the Prefect slot that just opened up since Carla got expelled right" Stephen glanced around and then smiled "it's weird, you deal some year 4's some A-class drugs and you get a beating and kicked outfor it, it totally sucks" Stephen announced with a hint of sarcasm in his voice.

Stephen then checked his watch "oh man, I got to go, late for a prefect meeting, and with me being head boy and calling the meating it probly isn't a good idea to be late" Stephen announced before nodding his head once "the pleasure was all mine Zeria" Stephen informed the redhead before he ran off towards the direction of the Prefects room.

Merry opened her eyes and released a sound similar to roar. She walked towards her clothes and put them on.

'' Geez ... They stink ...'' She muttered and continued walking. Finally she made to her kitchen and started eating. Cereals, nothing more. After she finished her breakfast, she put on her ugly and huge glasses, made her haircut even more messy, and left her apartment. After 20 minutes of walking, she was in the school. A huge applause sounded the moment she stepped to the school ground. It was caused by a bunch of students, lazy ones. But the moment they noticed Merry's face they knew they did wrong. She was in rage and burst towards them.

'' You stupid idiotas ... get to your music class and learn to clap ... it seems as you can't do a single thing right, not even clapping.'' She was shouting or more like roaring and the boys escaped as far as they were able to. And within a second Merry turned back to normal as nothing had happened.

Stephen arrived at the Prefects room and walked inside, all the other school prefects were there, As was the head of School, the enigmatic Mr Rice. "Sorry I'm late sir, was at the B-ball courts" stephen announced with a smirk "you better be able to make three pointers Mr choke-artist" the Head joked causing Stephen to shake his head "I'm getting there Sir" he announced with a slight tone of annoyance in his voice.

"Anyway, shall we get started" the head announced. Stephen pulled up a seat "so as you all know, we need a new Year 7 prefect as Miss Bruce was taken from us before her time" he was talking gently "NO!" the only Student not wearing a prefect badge shouted "She was murdered" he continued as he stood up, a tear rolled down his cheek "James sit down" Stephen announced.

Stephen then looked at the Head "sir, Zeria would make a good prefect, from what i hear, she is artistic and knows many people in school" one of the younger girls laughed "you mean the Geek who spends her time hiding" Stephen looked at the girl and smiled "and who are you exactly" he announced, a sound of spite in his voice "because the way i remember it, you were the only Girl in school who had never had a boyfriend until i gave the suggestion you become a prefect, now look at you, little miss popular" stephen announced "So Sir? what do you think?" Stephen asked politely

"you think it's a good idea prefect Hownam?" he asked "Yes Sir i do" he replied "then okay, here is her badge and Tie" the head handed a tie and Prefect badge to Stephen. The Tie had the School emblem at the end of it "I'm sure you will give them to her" Stephen nodded "Yes Sir" Stephen then stood up and exited the room.

Stephen had Seen Zeria leading a 1st year to her locker and leant against a wall outside the locker room. As zeria came out Stephen stood up straight, and clipped the Badge to the tie to Add some weight "Hey zeria" stephen announced "Catch" he continued moments before he threw the Tie and badge to the New Prefect "Don't make me regret this" he added as he turned and walked away, shaking his head "If she shows me up, Ima kill her" he thought to himself.

Merry - This is only the beginning!

She walked trough the corridors and by a miracle no-one was staring her ugliness. Well, they all knew that she would kill them if they would stare her. And to be honest, the corridors were always empty near her. But luckily for Merry, she saw Zeria getting prefect badge.

'' You there girl ... !'' She shouted to Zeria and almost like run next to her and blocked all they ways to escape.

'' You skinny red haired ugliness! Get yourself a weight before coming to school. What do you think of yourself. There is always problems with you you mute girly ... trying to become a prefect eh... I bet you had to sleep with every member of prefect to get that position ... and well like that wasn't enough eh ... when you finally got the position, you are standing here and wasting your time with me while you could help some children. Get working!NOW!'' She roared like a beast. Slime was spitted out while she was talking and covered Zeria's face. And her eyes, they were filled with blood red tone and her glasses made the look only worse. And then almost instantly she turned back to calm and headed towards her classroom while ignoring everything around her.

OOC: Well that's only the beginning of her bitchy attitude

Stephen stopped as he heard the commotion behind him and watched as Zeria gave on of the teachers a piece of her mind. he smirked and walked towards them "Ladies, well lady and beast" Stephen joked, getting a slight giggle out of a student who was walking past who quickly shut up as she realized what teacher it was.


"There is no need for all the commotion. Firstly, from the evidence she has Given, Zeria didn't sleep with every prefect to get a badge, and even if she did, i must have missed out on that luckyest of days" Stephen had a smirk on his face "and Mrs manbeast, if your really must know, Zeria was made a Prefect on my recommendation, and being a shy girl the only reason she wasn't working was because she was shocked to get the Tie" Stephen then walked towards Zeria and smiled "Lets go" he whispered as he walked past her.

"yea, if you had smashed the beasts face off a locker you probably would have got into shit loads of trouble" stephen annonced "And as for the prefects position i think you know that you are a capable person, i mean you helped a year 1 without bein a prefect" stephen announced.

Stephen walked through a door and held it for Zeria "and I did kinda set you up" Stephen had a cheeky grin on his face "the year 1 who asked you for help was kinda given a five pound note to ask you where her locker was" Stephen said turning and walking into the room leaving the door open "I was proving a point, before you decide you want to kill me"

Stephen looekd at Zeria with a smirk "but the teachers aknowledge you exist" Stephen said. "the only reason i was given my prefect tie, way back in year 1" stephen looked at Zeria "yea, i was a year 1 prefect" he announced "anyway, before i got my tie, i was always picked last for sports teams, even though i was a good player and everyone knew it. I had hardly any friends and so i was picked last."

Stephen then placed his hands on the back of his head "sometimes, kids need a push" he announced with a smirk. Stephen turned and began walking away from Zeria, but he paused and glanced back when he was around 5 feet away "this is your shove" he announced as he walked back towards the Sports hall.

As Stephen arrived at the sports hall the P.E teacher gave him a funny look "you don't have P.E" this statement caused Stephen to smile "I know Sir, but i was hoping to get some more practice in" The teacher looked into the hall, a group of Year 4's were playing Basketball "leave the flashy stuff on the bench" the teacher announce and Stephen nodded.

he walked down a long corridor to the changing rooms and entered. he began getting changed and just after he got his shorts on a Student came into the changing rooms "Sweet tat dude" Stephen glanced over his shoulder at the younger boy "Thanks" he replied as he pulled on his Team Jersey.

as Stephen turned around the Student saw the C on the front of the Left shoulder and smiled "Your the captain who cost us the title" the Student announced "Your crap" he announced as he exited, Stephen sat down and rested his face in his hands. His mind flashed back to his last game for the School team, nearly 10 months ago.

"ten seconds left on the clock of the final game of the season, the championship is given here" a young boy holding a mike infront of a webcam said "This is the Silver lake Sharks pod cast, and you are with me Mouth Mckenzie" the boy looked at the game that was going on infront of him "It's a sideline ball in this entertaining match between the Silver lake Sharks and the Meadow hall Wasps. Sideline ball with Hownam, who gives it to Plimmer, out to brown who drives to the hoop, he is up. . . .and he has passed it to hownam on the edge of the D, Hownam shoots the three pointer for the win. . . . . . . . . . . . . . NO! The First shot Hownam has missed all night and It's a Vital *HOONKKKKKKKKK*" the Boy's face dropped, as Stephen fell to his knee's and the Wasps were celebrating "Hownam missed the last shot of the night that would have won the Sharks the Title. It's a bad night to be a shark, and a worse night to be Stephen Hownam"

stephen pulled his head out of his hands and Stood up. he headed out and into the main hall. he walked over to the P.E teacher "Sir can i borrow that Student" Stephen asked pointing to the Student who had seen him in the changing room "Why?" the teacher asked "I want to show him why i wear the Captains badge for this team" the Teacher smiled "I'll ref a one on one between you two" the Teacher announced as the other Students left the cort and Stephen stretched his arms.

The teacher handed Stephen a Basketball and Stephen bounce passed it to the Student "Ball check" he announced as the Student bounced it back "The ball is fine, lets play"

OOC: Haha you better watch your words next time She ignored it but when she hears things like that ... ooh geez she is going to eat ya all

Merry - Let's start with Maths!

Merry ignored absolutely everything that the two children told. She had a happy smile on her face and her eyes were filled with good feeling. It seemed as she enjoyed being annoying. She entered her class and sat down. A new student in school happened to be watching her while she raised her look.

'' You like me? want to marry me?'' She shouted over the class. The young boy started blushing.

'' No!'' He answered with his young voice. Merry stood up and rushed next to her.

'' Then don't stare me like a mad man!'' Her voice was powerful and loud and spit covered the math book.

'' And take better care of your Math book ... it's all wet!'' She told and turned around.

'' Now take out your home works. Yes all those 20 pages of exercises. NOW!'' She shouted over the class.

Stephen was stood bouncing the ball, he ha dbeen playing the overconfident student for 20 minutes Stephen was enjoying the game, nfinding it easy, the coach was laughing at the scoreline and his oponent, well, he was getting angry.

stephen spun the ball in his hands and then shot from the edge of the D, in, another three points "thats 46-0 to Stephen" the tutor announced. stephen passed the ball to the other Student "your play" Stephen announced with a smile "try and score past me" he announced "no" the student said as he threw the ball away "Screw you" he announced to Stephen as he stormed out of the hall.

Stephen let out a loud "HA" and then turned to the class "Anyone else?" he asked confidently, the rest of the class shook their heads frantically. Stephen then collected the ball and headed up to the far end of the sports hall to practice on his own.

Merry - Yes, I know how to annoy you!

She sat behind her desk quietly. She seemed to be inside her world but then she jumped up.

'' You bastards, trying to cheat on my class!'' She shouted loudly. But it seemed as no-one knew what was going on, besides a boy whose face got bright red. Once again, Merry had busted a student. She rushed straightly towards the boy and opened her stinky mouth.

'' Give it here and nothing bad will happen!'' She told with quite gentle voice, at least for her. The boy started blushing and gave her a piece of paper with answers of test. But the action of Merry shocked him a lot. She grabbed her pen and painted a huge zero on the test.

'' You failed! You failed whole this year ... We will see in summer!'' She shouted as loudly as possible and pointed to the door. Tears filled the boys eyes and he run out of the class.

'' Next time follow the rules please!'' She now told with gentle and positive voice.

As Stephen finished up practicing he looked over at the class and saw the skill, or lack there of, that they all had. Stephen strode over to the Teacher and smiled "It seems if we don't win the championship this year, your not going to hold that trophy for a few years" Stephen joked.

"They don't have the focus that your guys do" Stephen smiled as he glanced between the tutor and the group "may I?" he asked and the teacher smiled "Go ahead" the teacher replied. Stephen strode over to the group and began talking to them about their game.
