FF IX was the first Final Fantasy title I completed and the second I played. It made me love it. Back then it was my favorite game!

But even now, years later I find this game as one of the best FF titles ever. The fact they made it less modern was certainly a plus. The characters were fantastic and even if there wasn't enough info about some of them, they all made me care about them. Especially Vivi. The story overall was top notch, the graphics even better. Gameplay was a bit slow and loadings were long but other than that it was good. Tho there was nothing revolutionary and trance occur too randomly. But as I stated before, it was/is and probably will be one of my favourite games for long time!

Ok, so Final Fantasy IX?

Hmmmm....

Quite a lot of characters, they each have a unique class and abilities to go with them.

The battle system... You learn you skills from pieces of equipment? oh but once it is leaned it is yours permanently rather than whilst that piece of armour or whatever is equipment... That's a very good idea!!!! I was afraid I could only use the skills whilst I had that item equipped. At least that is only the case whilst the skill is being learned!!!!

The Storyline.... I really like the storyline, it is really good! And I like the bad guys too!!! Zorn and Thorn!!!! They are awesome!!! *hides*

Tetra Master - A birlliant mini game. i found myself getting addicted to the card game! And just the randomness of it all... yeah it goes of strength and defence of the card but sometimes you could have a really strong card and it still lose :lol:

Chocobo Hot and Cold - LOVE This mini game and the theme "Vamo' Alla Flamenco" is so awesome too

Overall this game is brilliant! I have multiple saves on the go for this all from when I have restarted the game!!!!

This game is my first favorite and shall be my last favorite of all FF games.

Battleplay is fantastic, it's not as complicated as FF8 (which I think it was lol).
It was easy to understand and I love that each character has a specific job and skills.
The storyline is great.
The setting of the story kinda depresses me, but I can see it really as a "fantasy" world.
Soundtrack is brilliant. Kudos to Nobuo Uematsu!
Card game and Chocobo hot and cold is awesome.
What I didn't like was the characters were chibi-ish. I would have liked it better if the characters were tall and lean as FF8 characters XD

I just love this game!!
