Battle in the City

As the sun raised into the sky it was pbvious that it would be a good day. a slight breeze, made Stephen's hair swap and his clothes move fludicaly. stephen stood atop the Midgar cannon and looked out over the Ocean. Stephen knew that Zero had received his challenge, and as he checked his watch he smiled "Five minutes late" he announced as he stood, allowing the breeze to move his hair gently "He better show up or i won't be impressed" Stephen announced.

Zero realised he was late for the showdown with Stephen and so sprinted to the Midgar cannon where he saw the figure standing there waiting for something, or someone. "Sorry I'm late something came up." Zero said as he drew Derios from his back and muttered beneath his breath about what a place to battle. "Seeya down there"Zero pointed to one of the lower streets of Midgar and with a flurry of clothing and a shing of metal hitting metal Zero plunged himself over the side of the cannon towards the lower street where he plunged Derios into the ground to cushion the force of the impact.

Once Zero landed he yanked Derios from the ground and stood there waiting for Stephen to react.

OOC: no, we are in Midgar, after the origonal FFVII game so the junion cannon has been moved to midgar. we are battling in the city of midgar as Cloud and Sephy did in FFVII:AC well we will be when we get going, although i wont be impressed if you throw the shinra building at me like Sephy did to cloud

IC: stephen saw as Zero jumped down and he smiled "and so it begins" Stephen announced as he removed master blade from it's sheath and pressed the button, opening it out into battle mode. he then jumped off the cannon, comming down directly above Zero, he unleashed a downward slash at Zero.

Zero realised that Stephen was above him and so swung Derios upwards in an arcing movement to parry the slash off from his body. Zero then drew Helena and fired point blank into Stephens sword wielding hand "That should make things interesting" Zero snarled as he pushed himself back from Stephen and ran to a metal pole which he ran jumped and landed upon on the tips of his toes. "Come get me then" Zero said waving his hand towards Stephen.

as Stephen spun backwards, the bullets hit his hand and he released the master blade. the sword spun into the air and Stephen landed gracefully, the sword stabbed into the floor 4 meters behind him. a strange wind picked up around Stephen as his right arm began glowing yellow. Stephen's hand healed and he smiled "Gotta love white wind" Stephen announced as the wind died down. Stephen picked up the master blade and slung it into it's sheath, he then pulled cutting edge from the sheath next to master blade and extended his right arm towards Zero "BETA" he announced as a burning red cloud appeared around Zero.

Zero jumped backwards but the cloud was to large and burnt at Zero's exposed face, he pulled up his top so i covered most of his face and pulled a pair of sunglasses from his pocket to shield his eyes from the burning red cloud.
"You bastard" Zero shouted as he burst through the cloud choking holding Derios out infront of him one handed whilst he fiddled with a fire materia which he fused into the handle of Helena, as he fired off a ball of flame which encased a bullet he lodged Derios into the ground at Stephens feet to launch Zero above him from where he fired another five fire infused bullets at point blank range into the back of Stephens head.

as the first bullet came in Stephen smiled "Big guard" he announced as his body was encased in a protective shell, the first bullet was dodged, but the other five did reduced damage. Stephen stumbled forward and spun around rapidly "you bastard" he announced as he charged for Zero. he unleashed two horizontal slashes and then a vertically upwards slash to finish off the combo of three.
